“Style n More “is an Academy and Salon in Derawal Nagar New Delhi. We provide Beauty, Nail, Make-Up, Hair services. We won Global Business awards for 2018 for best international Bridal Make-up artist. Our work has been published in magazines like lifestyle, New Age Salon and many others. 

 I started it at a really young age. I was always inclined towards fashion. My elder sister was into beauty industry, She used to train me, I started following her and became the part of the beauty industry.

I come from a business family, so I know this is the way of life. My parents were into business they inspired me to become a business person.

It was a big challenge when my husband moved to Delhi so I had to shut my work and start it all over again in Delhi.  I was on my toes for some 4-5 years as I had to settle myself into the metropolitan city and had to look after my daughter and husband and my newly growing business.

I have had many mentors at various stages of my life to bring the best out of me. My sister has been my best support all this while. 

 If I haven’t had stopped working after marriage then things would have been different, for 5years I did not work which is a huge time, it impacted my career. 

I come from a small town and a liberal family my father supported us siblings for our work. When I got married my in-laws never wanted me to work due to those social traditional norms that somehow exist in our society where women do not work , so it was a 360• shift in my life. I started working from home, they saw my passion and madness and so many people appreciating my work .So it was a struggle for couple of years to allow me starts my business. 

In this time of COVID, expenses have increased and business has gone down and customers are scared to come out of their houses. Bringing them from their houses and taking care of them and maintaining their trust and providing services is the biggest challenge in this pandemic and we powerfully deliver on our customers’ expectations.

We are taking all the necessary precautions, we are connected to our clients through social media and making videos of our work and keeping clients updated about our new ways of work. We ensure to provide the best of the services with complete client satisfaction. We have upgraded our work place with new sanitization equipment, we are using new sterilization equipment, and use of disposables for all the work that we do is quite frequent. Our entire staff wears PPE kit. 

My advice for all the women is to Be Fierce.

Be open and work for what you want.

Know yourself and start following your dreams. Take a small step towards your journey of thousands of miles. Start from a small step. And it turns into a compound. So my message is take a step and learn simultaneously and grow you.
